Day ninety part three (that makes these posts “good things”, right?)

Key West, every sunset, gathers in Mallory Square to clap and cheer the sun going down. Every day. It’s pretty damn cool. There’s street performers, and food and drinks vendors, and painters, etc. Like a regular little arty market. I was down there tonight and took this photo of the sunset that I wanted to share with you :).

Florida seems to love its cats, moreso than dogs. In Miami there were countless cats roaming the beach boardwalk (not sure if they were wild or not, all that lines that area is resorts :/). In Key West is the same thing, plus of course there’s Hemingway’s home, with its 50 kitties.

At the sunset celebration, there’s a “Cat Man” that performs. He has three cats, and they basically do a version of Cirque du Soleil as performed by cats. Seriously. It’s awesome. The guy himself is pretty damn crazy. But to have been able to train cats with their pompous attitudes, he must also be pretty smart. They do things like have one cat laying on a tightrope, and two other cats leap over that cat, through a hoop of flame, to land on the other side of the tightrope. There’s a reason this place is also known as “Key Weird”.

I’ve been trying to sort out more of my holiday past Vegas, but it’s just looking painful. I’m going to go find some sort of travel agent/Qantas representative in Las Vegas, and see what my options are, and how much they will all cost... :/

Such a beautiful sunset Adam
- it's a poem - perhaps you could write a poem about it?
